We’re back with our ‘Loan Watch’ series, which runs every week to cover how Rovers’ out-on-loan contingent are performing.

There’s been plenty of action since we last caught up, so let’s dive straight into it!

Harry Chapman

With no midweek fixture, there was just one appearance for Harry Chapman this week.

The 23-year-old started and played the full ninety minutes on Saturday as Shrewsbury picked up a point away at play-off challengers Accrington Stanley.

Hayden Carter

Like Chapman, Hayden Carter made one appearance this weekend for Burton Albion.

It was a Saturday to forget for the Brewers, who lost 3-0 at home to Sunderland and had to play the final half hour with ten men. Carter played the full ninety minutes as Burton dropped to the bottom of League One.

Tyler Magloire

Tyler Magloire made his full debut for Motherwell this weekend, but it was not one he’ll want to remember as they fell to a 3-0 defeat against St Johnstone,

Brad Lyons

As normal, Brad Lyons was a substitute on Tuesday evening for Morecambe’s trip to Bradford City, coming off the bench to play the final 16 minutes as they fell to a narrow 2-1 defeat at Bradford City.

The Northern Irish midfielder was then an unused substitute on Saturday as the Shrimpers ran out as 2-1 winners away to Barrow, leaving them just one point off the automatic promotion spots.

Tom White

Tom White started – and played the full ninety minutes – in Hartlepool’s trip to Eastleigh in midweek, but he was unable to prevent them falling to a 2-1 defeat.

The 23-year-old was named in the starting eleven for their home match against Yeovil on Saturday, playing 58 minutes in the Pools’ 2-1 win over the Glovers.

Joe Grayson

Grayson started and played 45 minutes for Oxford United on Tuesday night, being replaced at half-time, as they fell to a 2-0 defeat to Tranmere in the Papa John’s Trophy (also known as the EFL Trophy) semi-finals.

He was then an unused substitute on Saturday in the U’s goalless draw away to Ipswich Town.

Harry Pickering

There was just one fixture for Crewe this weekend as Harry Pickering played the full match in the Railwaymen’s 2-1 defeat away to Swindon Town.

Charlie Mulgrew

Mulgrew was absent on Saturday as Fleetwood drew 1-1 at home to play-off chasers Charlton Athletic.

Joe Hilton

The wait continues for Joe Hilton to make his Ross County debut, with the Rovers ‘keeper an unused substitute in the Staggies’ 1-0 home win over Celtic.

Jack Vale

Vale was absent from both of Rochdale’s fixtures this week – missing their 1-0 defeat at Blackpool and 0-0 draw at home to Plymouth.
