Player Profile

Isaac signed a new two-and-a-half-year deal in January 2020 through to the summer of 2022.

A strong midfielder who can also fill in at centre back or right back. Isaac was split between the U18s and U23s throughout 19/20, playing eleven times in the U18 Premier League, whilst also appearing ten times in Premier League 2.

He was also the captain during the U18s’ run to the youth cup semi-final during 19/20.

Isaac was also given a callup by the Republic of Ireland U18s in early 202. Although the pandemic meant he didn’t get to play, it did highlight the progress made by the U18 captain during the 19-20 season.

Isaac made his debut for the U23s back in February 2019 coming on for a short cameo in the infamous 7-1 defeat over Leicester at Leyland, and since has managed to amass 21 appearances for the side.

Therefore, during the 20-21 campaign, he will truly be looking to nail down his spot in the 23s and make himself one of Billy Barr’s first names on the team sheet.
