Young Rovers striker Jack Vale has completed a move to Rochdale AFC, where he will spend the rest of the season on loan.
The young Welsh forward was loaned out last season to Barrow AFC, but didn’t get a chance to debut for the club as Covid struck and lockdown stopped all football.
He has recently returned to the U23s squad after being injured and has played three times this season, looking a promising prospect to keep an eye on.
Vale was on the scoresheet in the U23s’ 3-1 victory over Leicester City tonight, as well as assisting Bradley Dack’s goal.
Mowbray previously stated his preference to loan out Vale, and the forward will now get the chance to benefit from first-team football in League One.
