Magloire heads to Scotland on loan

Rovers defender Tyler Magloire has completed a loan switch to Scottish Premiership side Motherwell.

Having been with the club since the age of nine, Magloire made his way through the ranks to become a regular in the U18 side, making 21 appearances in the U18 Premier League in the 2015-16 season.

He made the transition into the U23 side under Damien Johnson, before a knee injury early in the 2018-19 campaign, although he was fit enough to captain the side to the Lancashire Senior Cup trophy with victory over Burnley.

His debut came in the same season in March 2019, keeping a clean sheet in the victory over Wigan, before featuring in the defeat at Sheffield Wednesday three days later.

Magloire has spent time out on loan twice, once at Rochdale – in the first half of the 2019-20 season – and once at Hartlepool, since the summer of 2020, before returning in January.

Magloire will hope to help Motherwell escape relegation, as they currently sit tenth and just three points off the bottom in the Scottish Premiership.
