Rovers full-back Amari’i Bell has received his first call-up to the Jamaica national team squad.

The 26-year-old has made 19 appearances for Rovers in all competitions this season, and will link up with the ‘Reggae Boyz’ for the upcoming international break.

Bell is one of six Championship players to be called up to the national team, with Adrian Mariappa (Bristol City), Wes Harding (Rotherham United), Liam Moore (Reading), Ethan Pinnock (Brentford) and Andre Gray (Watford) also receiving call-ups.

Jamaica will play the USA in a friendly on Thursday 25 March, with kick off scheduled for 5pm UK Time.

All the best, Amari’i!

We are hosting a special live stream on Tuesday 27 July to raise some much needed funds for our charity partner 'Sporting Minds UK', who provide much needed mental health support for sportspeople.

There are plenty of prizes up for grabs, including a signed pair of boots from Elliott Bennett and signed shirts from John Buckley and Joe Rothwell.

To donate, please visit rcdonate.com and give whatever you can to help support this wonderful cause. Thank you.
