Loan Watch: Hayden Carter scores again for Burton

We’re back with our ‘Loan Watch’ series, which runs every week to cover how Rovers’ out-on-loan contingent are performing.

There’s been plenty of action since we last caught up, so let’s dive straight into it!

Harry Chapman

There was just one fixture for Shrewsbury this week as they hosted league leaders Hull City on Saturday afternoon.

Harry Chapman came off the bench and played ten minutes for the Shrews, as they drew 1-1 with Hull, leaving them 17th in the League One table.

Hayden Carter

Burton Albion were in action on Tuesday evening, as they picked up a point in a 1-1 draw away to Blackpool. It was a special evening again for Hayden Carter, who played the full ninety minutes and scored Burton’s goal.

He then played the full match again on Saturday, as the Brewers lost 2-1 at home to MK Dons – with Carter facing up against his former team mate Andy Fisher.

Tyler Magloire

There was just one fixture for Motherwell this week, as they made the trip to Kilmarnock in their final fixture before the ‘split’ happens.

Tyler Magloire played the full ninety minutes as ‘The Well’ fell to a 4-1 defeat, leaving them in the bottom half of the table.

Tom White

In his second appearance since resigning on loan for Hartlepool United, Tom White played the full ninety minutes in their 2-2 draw at King’s Lynn Town on Tuesday.

The midfielder then played 70 minutes on Saturday, as the Pools beat Woking 1-0 at home, leaving them second in the table.

Harry Pickering

As has become the norm, Harry Pickering captained and played the full ninety minutes in Crewe Alexandra’s 1-0 victory away to Northampton Town on Saturday.

Joe Grayson

Tuesday night saw Joe Grayson play 13 minutes off the bench in Oxford United’s 3-0 home victory over Doncaster Rovers.

He was then an unused substitute on Saturday, as the U’s fell to a 2-0 home defeat against Blackpool.

Charlie Mulgrew

Both fixtures this week for Fleetwood Town saw Charlie Mulgrew miss out on the matchday squad, missing their 2-0 win over Fleetwood in midweek, and their 2-0 loss at home to Swindon Town on Saturday.

Joe Hilton

As usual, Joe Hilton was an unused substitute in Ross County’s fixture away to St Johnstone, in which the Staggies lost 1-0.

Jack Vale

There was no Jack Vale for Rochdale this week, as the Dale drew 3-3 at home to Peterborough United in dramatic circumstances.

Brad Lyons

Brad Lyons is continuing his spell on the sidelines following an injury sustained earlier this month, meaning he sat out Morecambe’s 1-0 victory away to Harrogate Town on Saturday.
