Rovers U18s extended their impressive run in the U18 Premier League with an emphatic 3-0 home victory over Derby County on Saturday afternoon.
Ben Fyles’ goal saw Rovers ahead at the break, before second half strikes from Alex Baker and Jay Haddow secured the points for the hosts.
The victory means Mike Sheron’s side – who had only won once in their opening thirteen league matches – have now won all of their last seven fixtures in the competition.
It has been an excellent turn of form for the U18s, who despite putting in some impressive performances, struggled to put points on the board in the early months of the season.

Forward Zak Gilsenan, who has been a key player for Sheron’s side this season, was also involved in the action, grabbing the assists for Baker and Haddow’s goals.
The U18s are next in action on Tuesday 27 April as they take on Stoke City at Brockhall, with kick off scheduled for 1pm.
