Rovers U23s will look to end the league season in a positive manner as they take on Chelsea U23s in their penultimate match.
Billy Barr’s side fell to a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Derby last time out, but it has been a positive season overall that has seen the young Rovers challenge for the title.
Managed by Andy Myers, who has been involved with the academy for over a decade, Chelsea currently sit fourth in the PL2 table – a point and a place behind Rovers.

It will be the first meeting between the sides since November 2019, with the two sides playing against each other in the final PL2 fixtures this time around.
Myles Peart-Harris (18 years old) and Thierno Ballo (19 years old) are the joint top scorers in the league this season with seven goals a piece, whilst the likes of George McEachran and Dujon Sterling have experience in men’s football.
Daniel Ayala is expected to feature as he looks to continue his return to injury, having been out of action since the turn of the year.
Meanwhile, Jordan Eastham could return to the starting eleven after Antonis Stergiakis was chosen for the last two matches.
Predicted XI: Eastham, Pike, Ayala, Annesley (c), Cirino, Nock, Harlock, Nolan, Butterworth, McBride, Burns.
This will be a really tough game for Rovers without doubt. We know the talent they have produced in recent years and they have had a similar season to ourselves.
I expect an open affair, ending in a point for each side.
Prediction: Chelsea U23s 1-1 Rovers U23s
