Daniel Ainsworth discusses three talking points as Rovers record a disappointing draw at Rotherham…
Rovers On The Road
The draw rounds off Rovers’ road trips for the season, picking up 22 points across the 23 away matches they have played this season.
Interestingly, Rovers have picked up between 22 and 24 points on the road in all three of Mowbray’s full Championship seasons at the club.

The victories earlier in the season have helped Rovers’ tally on the road as they finish another season of away trips averaging around a point a game.
With Barry Douglas likely to have a couple of offers on the table and demanding relatively high wages, I’d expect him not to return to the club due to Harry Pickering’s arrival.
So, could the club offer Amari’i Bell a new contract? He was one of the better performers in the match, and his wage demands are going to be smaller than Douglas will want.
Bell may decide it is time to move on in the summer in search of first-team opportunities, but if he is willing to stick around, he could be a handy back-up – and he will get the opportunities to impress.
Auf Wiedersehen, Lewis
Following the draw, the news that Lewis Holtby has played his last match for the club, with his contract set to expire in the summer.
It has been a disappointing two years at the club for Lewis personally, with a number of injuries keeping him from appearing regularly in the side.
At times, we have seen the talent he clearly possesses – with the 5-0 thrashing of Sheffield Wednesday at the forefront of those bright sparks – but it has not been seen enough, and it is best for all parties that he moves on.
Auf Weidersehen, Lewis, and thank you for your efforts in the Blue and White halves.
