Ratings: How the Rovers players performed in the draw at Rotherham

Daniel Ainsworth hands out his player ratings as Rovers pick up a point on the road at Rotherham…

Note: The players are rated on a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest.

Thomas Kaminski 6

A quiet first half for Kaminski but the second certainly tested him. Held his hands up for the Rotherham goal but made a couple of strong saves.

Ryan Nyambe 7

Was strong on and off the ball, including when he knocked Ladapo away from the ball as a dangerous ball came across. Struggled slightly going forward but a good performance from the Namibian.

Darragh Lenihan 7

Led the defence well against a Rotherham side that is physical. Lost concentration the odd time but a good performance otherwise.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis 7

Such a talented young defender who looks at home at Championship level despite a lack of senior experience previously. Strong in the air as well.

Amari’i Bell 7

A positive performance from Bell. Looked comfortable at the back and although his final ball was lacking, it was a performance that would do his chances of a deal no good.

Lewis Travis 7

Looked more like his usual self. Showed his strengths both defensively and going forward, and one of his stronger performances in recent weeks.

Bradley Johnson 5

Put the running in but his passing and shooting was a little off. Didn’t seem to be in the match too much.

Joe Rothwell 7

Drove forward in the Rothwell way we have come to know. The frustration about watching him is when he makes a pass rather than shooting.

Sam Gallagher 6

The runs forward when he drove at the defence put fear in the Rotherham defenders, but nothing came of them in the end.

Adam Armstrong 7

Another goal for the Angel. Energetic, agile and an eye for goal, he will be a miss next season. He will be disappointed to not have got a brace, however, given his chance at the end.

Ben Brereton 6

Kept running and trying to cause problems for the opposition, but with little success. Had a chance after the break.

Tyrhys Dolan (on 73 mins, replacing Sam Gallagher) N/A

Showed what he can do but he didn’t have enough time to create many chances.

Harvey Elliott (on 83 mins, replacing Joe Rothwell) N/A

Little time to influence the match but picked out Armstrong so well with his pass. Shown the quality we have seen all season.
