Rovers U18s’ eight-match unbeaten run came to an end on Saturday as they fell to defeat at title-chasing Manchester City.
Up against a talented City side, Rovers stood strong defensively through the first half, with the hosts controlling posssession.
City got their breakthrough with five minutes of the first-half remaining, as Josh Adam scored minutes after coming off the bench to give his side the lead at the break.
The hosts continued to dominate proceedings following the break and struck against twenty minutes from time as Micah Hamilton secured all three points for the title-chasers.

The result saw Rovers lose for the first time since January, a run that all involved with the U18s should be proud of.
