Rovers U23s will look to finish their Premier League 2 campaign strongly tomorrow as they host Chelsea, with kick-off scheduled for 4pm.
Billy Barr’s side are without a win in their last five matches as title hopes faded away, with Manchester City crowned as champions.
Nevertheless, the young Rovers have had an enjoyable season and are all but guaranteed of a top four position due to their notably higher goal difference than Manchester United.
They face the same side they played last Friday, with Chelsea running out as 1-0 winners down in the English capital.

Managed by Andy Myers, who has been involved with the academy for over a decade, Chelsea currently sit second in the PL2 table – two points and two places behind Rovers.
Myles Peart-Harris (18 years old) and Thierno Ballo (19 years old) are the joint top scorers in the league this season with seven goals a piece, whilst the likes of George McEachran and Dujon Sterling have experience in men’s football.
Daniel Ayala, who played an hour in the defeat at Chelsea last time out, is expected to be involved with the first-team.
Antonis Stergiakis could return between the sticks after sitting on the bench in the last fixture, with the Greek ‘keeper sharing goalkeeping responsibilities with Jordan Eastham throughout the season.
Tony Mowbray could choose to give chances to a couple of the U23 stars on Saturday, meaning the starting team remains a true mystery.
Predicted XI: Stergiakis, Whitehall, Barnes, Annesley, Cirino, Nock, Harlock, Saadi, Durrant, Burns, McBride
As evidenced by Rovers’ defeat against Chelsea last time out, it will be a tough fixture for Rovers. However, Billy Barr will be wanting his side to end the season on a high, and I’ve a feeling the season will end with three points.
Prediction: Rovers U23s 1-1 Chelsea U23s
