Two of Rovers’ bright talents are taking part in the Republic of Ireland’s training camp this week.
Goalkeeper Will Blease and forward Zak Gilsenan have linked up as part of a 37-man camp that is taking place in Loughborough, England.
Blease made three appearances for Rovers U18s this season, with most of his appearances coming at U16 level, whilst Gilsenan has contributed to eleven goals (eight goals and three assists) in twenty appearances for the U18s – as well as two appearances at U23 level.
The three-day set-up, which began on Monday and ends today, will be used as a chance for Irish Head Coach Tom Mohan to cast his eye over the young talents.
