According to reports from Football League World, Blackburn Rovers are one of ten clubs interested in taking Manchester City midfielder Tommy Doyle on loan until the end of the season.
The report links ten separate Championship clubs with a move for the midfielder, who is a highly-rated academy star with the Premier League Champions.
Doyle, who has made seven appearances for Pep Guardiola’s side, is attracting interest from Rovers, and a loan spell would make sense following the club’s success in recent years with two of his former team-mates.
Tosin Adarabioyo and Taylor Harwood-Bellis spent time on loan at Rovers in the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons respectively, both enjoying success and speaking highly of their time with the clubs.
