Player ProfileAfter spending four years at Gateshead in the North East, Tom joined Rovers in 2019.The former Gateshead man is on loan during the 20-21 season at League Two Bolton Wanderers after spending the 19-20 campaign on loan at then National League side Barrow.An assured midfielder who can pick a pass but isn’t afraid to put his foot in will now be hoping to put in the required performances to get a new deal once back from loan.The fact he is not too far away at Bolton means that Rovers will be keeping a close eye on his performances.At U23 level, Tom has played eight league games, grabbing himself three assists, all coming in a standout performance for Tom against Brighton in August 2019.Ultimately, the jury is still out on whether Tom has a future at the club given his deal is up in the summer of 2021 and what course the club will take from here.
